What Risen Jesus Accomplished For You?

After being scourged, flagged, spat at, and beaten up, Jesus was crucified and in John 19:30 He said, “It is finished (John 19:30).”  When Jesus died, He was brought down and His body was asked by Joseph of Arimathea from Pilate.  Joseph was accompanied by Nicodemus, the Pharisee who visited Jesus at night.  Joseph and Nicodemus wrapped Jesus’ body with spices, in strips of linen.  Then, his body was put in the tomb which no one had ever been laid (John 19:38-42). This proved that Jesus really died physically. There can never be resurrection without death.
